This month, a special edition of Field Radio dedicated to the sound artist, Jo Lucas, who died last year after a 6 year battle with breast cancer. Jo was a friend and colleague, and this programme is made from a number of hers (and my) recordings of India and Mongolia. The connection to Brighton is not immediately obvious, but her work with the voice and sacred sounds is a testament to the power of field recording and the art of listening.
