The latest edition of Field Radio comes to you from that temple of consumerism, Churchill Square. I took a soundwalk around the public areas of the building and created a sonic portrait of a local landmark that both celebrates and questions our obsession with global capital in the form of branded shopping malls. All comments welcome as always...

This month we take another psychogeographic sound walk, this time along the route of the ancient drove ways of Brighton, from Seven Dials to Five Ways. Now part of the urban sprawl, these routes would formally have been where farmers drove their sheep... Field Radio is broadcast in binaural stereo - please listen on headphones.

This month, a little late granted... we celebrate the first anniversary of the legendary, ground-breaking radio show that is Field Radio. A fond retrospective of some of the raw recordings from a selection of the shows that we produced in our first year of broadcasting - some of which have never been heard before. As always, we welcome your comments and emails.

This month, a special edition of Field Radio dedicated to the sound artist, Jo Lucas, who died last year after a 6 year battle with breast cancer. Jo was a friend and colleague, and this programme is made from a number of hers (and my) recordings of India and Mongolia. The connection to Brighton is not immediately obvious, but her work with the voice and sacred sounds is a testament to the power of field recording and the art of listening. As always, please leave any comments here or email me on artofnoises@gmail.com.. Next month, we return to our regular format.
Joseph Young.
